According to Public TV, Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has extended its moral support to the upcoming Bidadi Township Padayatra. The protest march is being organized under the leadership of Nikhil Kumaraswamy, the youth wing president of the Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS).

Minister Kumaraswamy made these remarks following a meeting held in Bengaluru on Saturday, which was attended by senior leaders from both the JDS and the BJP.
