The legislative session, which spanned from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, concluded without a final vote, leading the Speaker to adjourn the house until Wednesday morning. The proposed bill seeks to introduce significant amendments to the existing 2024 legislation aimed at curbing paper leaks in public examinations.

The proceedings were marked by intense political friction, particularly concerning the appointment of Prahlad Joshi as the Union Minister for Education. Outside the parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi leveled sharp criticism at the government, alleging that the administration had placed an individual who defended individuals accused of sexual assault in a position of authority over the nation's education system. Similar sentiments were echoed by Priyanka Gandhi within the Lok Sabha chamber.

The remarks made by Priyanka Gandhi triggered a heated response from the treasury benches, resulting in the expunging of her comments from the official parliamentary record.
