The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when the child stepped out of her home to collect leaves from a nearby tree. Her father, Girdhar Mishra, stated that a pack of seven stray dogs surrounded and attacked the girl for approximately 43 seconds before local residents intervened to drive the animals away.

The victim sustained significant injuries, particularly to her head, requiring 80 stitches. She also suffered wounds to her hands and thighs. The attack has been captured on CCTV, with footage surfacing on Tuesday showing the pack surrounding the child before the assault began. Local residents who heard the girl's screams rushed to the scene to rescue her and transported her to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.
