Rajput ರಜಪೂತ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಮನವಿ

According to a report by Vijayavani, members of the Sri Maharana Pratapsingh Rajput Samaj submitted a formal petition to the state government through Hangal Tahsildar Vitthal Chougala on Friday. The group is requesting the establishment of a dedicated Rajput Development Board to address the socio-economic challenges faced by the community in Karnataka.

Representatives of the organization stated that despite a significant population in the state, many members of the Rajput community remain economically and educationally marginalized. They argued that the youth within the community lack the necessary guidance and institutional support required to integrate fully into the professional mainstream. The petition highlights that the community is seeking state-level intervention to provide targeted development initiatives.

The petitioners also referenced ongoing efforts to document the community's status, noting that a family survey and digital registration process were successfully conducted in the Kalaburagi district. According to the report, the comprehensive data collected from this exercise is currently under review by the Backward Classes Welfare Commission in Bengaluru. The Hangal-based group expressed their support for this data collection initiative and urged the government to utilize these findings to justify the creation of the proposed development board.
