According to Public TV, an escort vehicle belonging to the convoy of Karnataka Minister K.J. George was involved in a minor traffic accident in the Chikkamagaluru district. The incident occurred while the minister was traveling to the Amrit Mahal Kaval breeding center in Ajjampura as part of a drought inspection tour of the region.

Reports indicate that the escort vehicle struck the gate of the breeding center after the driver of the lead police jeep reportedly braked suddenly while navigating a turn. No injuries were reported, and the minister's vehicle was not directly involved in the collision.
