Student Beaten ସେବାଶ୍ରମରେ ଛାତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ନିସ୍ତୁକ ମାଡ଼, ଉତ୍ତେଜନା

According to a report by Sambad, a sixth-grade student at Deokaran Pur High School in the Jarangloi area of Sundargarh district, Odisha, was allegedly subjected to a severe beating by four ninth-grade students. The incident has sparked significant tension, with the victim's family and relatives arriving at the school to protest the alleged assault and the school's subsequent handling of the situation.

The victim's parents, identified as Man Lakra and Lakshmi Lakra from Baibai village, have alleged that the school administration failed to inform them of the incident for 24 hours. Furthermore, they claim that the school did not provide necessary medical attention to the injured student, who reportedly sustained wounds to his thighs and back during the altercation on Thursday.

Following the discovery of the incident, the family transported the student to the Badgaon hospital via a 108 ambulance for medical treatment. The parents have also formally notified the local police regarding the assault. As of now, there has been no official statement from the school authorities or local law enforcement regarding the progress of the investigation into the alleged bullying and physical abuse.
