According to Polimer News, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party organized a series of protests across Tamil Nadu to demand a full waiver of agricultural loans. The demonstrations took place in multiple districts, with party leaders and former ministers spearheading the events in various locations.

In Salem, former minister P. Thangamani participated in the protest, while in Vellore, the demonstration on Anna Salai was led by MP M. Thambidurai. Similar protests were reported in Madurai, where former ministers Sellur K. Raju and R.B. Udhayakumar addressed crowds. The party members utilized these gatherings to voice their opposition to the current state government's policies regarding agricultural debt.

Protests were also held in other districts, including Theni, Tiruvannamalai, and Pudukkottai, drawing significant participation from party cadres. The demonstrations reflect ongoing political tensions in the state as the opposition continues to pressure the administration on economic issues affecting the farming community.
