According to Sangbad Pratidin, a protest leader involved in the ongoing agitation against the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has been hospitalized following a prolonged hunger strike. The individual, who has been dubbed the 'Wangchuk of Jharkhand' by local supporters in reference to his protest methods, was reportedly taken for medical care after his physical condition deteriorated during the demonstration.

Thousands of students and job seekers have been protesting for over two weeks, alleging widespread irregularities and corruption in the state's recruitment processes. The protesters are demanding immediate reforms and transparency from the Hemant Soren government, arguing that the current examination systems are flawed and disadvantageous to local candidates.

The situation remains tense as the demonstrators continue to demand accountability for the alleged mismanagement of state examinations.
